Teknek technology to help the Space Program

Technical Director, Sheila Hamilton delivers key paper at the 8th Workshop on Electronic Materials and processes (EMPS) for Space at the European Space Agency, 10th -12th May 2017.

The focus of the EMPS Workshop was high‐reliability manufacturing of electronic assemblies intended to withstand assembly, ground based test conditions and long term storage in addition to the conditions imposed by launchers and the space flight environments.

Teknek has long pioneered zero defect production and our scientists are regular contributors at International conferences at which they share their knowledge of process improvement.

Teknek has highly qualified and experienced scientists, with over 50 years of experience, who develop new technology for defect reduction as well as measuring and analysing its impact on products and processes. The Teknek research labs along with the Teknek Academy both advance the state of the art, and provide detailed test data about its own products and those made by others.
